Here at the ICC Region II page for our Spotlight the Permit Technician program, we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in advancing careers and goals of permit technicians. We strive to build productive relationships, provide detailed career information and to make a positive impact with all of our pursuits and goals. The network of Permit Technicians has grown over the years and encouraged further involvement and now with this new regional program enacted by ICC Region II President Jack Applegate in 2017 we hope to merge resources and let the code community work together to improve opportunities, training and wages four these dedicated professionals.

Permit Tech Nation
Permit Tech Nation was founded by Permit Technicians from across the United States via networking through ICC and the Annual Conferences. The network of Permit Technicians has grown over the years and has encouraged further involvement. It all started with the Permit Tech Ad Hoc Committee and has grown into a community that supports, encourages and mentors each other. We strongly encourage all permit technicians to check out Permit Tech Nation and all other state and local permit Technician chapters across America.
